Neal McCoy started his musical career in 1988 when he signed with the 16th Avenue Records label. Along with the label, he recorded the singles “That’s How Much I Love You” and “That’s American.”
In 1990, he signed to Atlantic Records when he changed his surname to McCoy. In the same year, he released his debut album “At This Moment.” The lead single of the music album “If I Built You a Fire” reached the Top 20 country hits in Canada. Two years later, McCoy released his second studio album “Where Forever Begins,” which was his first entry on Top Country Albums at No. 58.
In 1994, he released his breakthrough album “No Doubt About It,” which earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and gold certification from the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA).
